In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website.

The term “personal data”, with reference to the definition in Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as “Basic Data Protection Regulation” or “DSGVO” for short), refers to all data that can be related to you personally. This includes, for example, your name, address, e-mail address and user behaviour. With regard to the other terms, in particular the terms “processing”, “responsible party”, “order processor” and “consent”, we refer you to the legal data protection definitions of Art. 4 DSGVO.

As a matter of principle, we only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and the content and services we offer. Personal data will only be processed regularly if you have given us your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO or if processing is permitted by statutory provisions, in particular by one of the legal bases specified in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) to f) DSGVO.

If you contact us by e-mail, the personal data you send us with your e-mail will be stored. We also have a contact form on our website which you can use to contact us. The data you enter in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored.

Newsletter

We provide you with a newsletter, which you can subscribe to on our website. Details of the newsletter, in particular its possible contents, are stated in the declaration of consent. If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you enter in the input mask when registering for the newsletter will be transmitted to us. In order to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide us with the mandatory data requested:

For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called Double-Opt-In procedure. After your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we will ask you to confirm that you would like us to send you the newsletter in the future. If you do not confirm your registration within the period specified in the e-mail, the data you provide will be blocked and deleted after 24 months. In addition, we store your IP address and the time of registration for the newsletter as well as the time of confirmation. No data will be passed on to third parties in connection with the processing of data for the dispatch of the newsletter. These data are used exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter.

You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the link contained in every newsletter e-mail we send you.

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. The newsletter e-mails sent by us contain a so-called web beacon or a so-called tracking pixel. This is a one-pixel image file that is stored on our website. This data is collected exclusively under a pseudonym. This data processing serves the purpose of tailoring the newsletter to your individual interests. We offer you the opportunity to apply online on our website. Personal data is required for your participation in the application process. We process the above data for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure. If you have given us your consent, the legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. Insofar as the processing of the above data takes place to initiate contractual relationships, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the event that the application procedure is followed by an employment relationship, training relationship, internship or other employment relationship, the data will initially continue to be stored and transferred to the personal file. Otherwise, the application procedure ends with the receipt of a rejection. In this case, the data will be deleted after 6 months. As part of the application process, you should only provide us with the personal data required for participation in the application process and its implementation. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide data. However, we would like to point out that we cannot carry out the application procedure without this data and cannot consider your application. This is where our justified interest in the processing of the abovementioned data through the third-party supplier lies. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit f) DSGVO. We use “Facebook-Pixel”, a service from Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, US (termed “Facebook” in the following text), on our website. Facebook-Pixel is a service that enables Facebook to only show our adverts on Facebook, so called “Facebook-Ads”, to Facebook-users that visited our website and especially to those who showed an interest in our online offering or in specific topics or products. Facebook-Pixel enables checking if a user was redirected to our website after clicking on one of our Facebook-Ads. Facebook-Pixel utilizes i.a. We utilize “Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA“, a service from Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (termed “Google“ in the following text), for our online presence. Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA stores and processes information about your user behavior regarding our online presence. Therefore Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA uses i.a. Cookies, which are small text files saved locally in the Cash of your web browser on your terminal device. They render the analysis of the use of our online presence through you possible.

We use Googe (Invisible) reCAPTCHA to prove, if the input is done by a human or whether it is generated improperly through automated, mechanical processing. This is where our justified interest in the processing of the abovementioned data through the third-party supplier lies. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

The IP-address passed on by Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA is not going to be amalgamated with other data from Google unless you are signed into your Google account at the time of using Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA. If you want to prevent the transmission and storage of your data and the data about your behavior on our website through Google you need to sign out of Google before visiting our website and before using Google (Invisible) reCAPTCHA respectively.

We utilize “Google Ads” (previously Google AdWords), a service from Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (termed “Google” in the following text), on our website. Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our attractive offerings on external websites with the help of advertising media. Thereby, we can evaluate how successful individual advertising activities are. This advertising media is extradited over so called “AdServers” by Google. Therefore, we utilize so called AdServer-Cookies which can measure specific parameters for the success evaluation like advert overlay or user clicks. Provided that you reached our website over a Google-advertisement, GoogleAds will save a Cookie on your PC. These Cookies usually loose their validity after 30 days. They should not serve to personally identify you. In addition to the Cookie, this Information is usually stored as analysis data: Unique-Cookie-ID, Frequency of Ad Impressions per placement, last impression (relevant for Post-View-Conversations), Opt-out-information (mark that the user does not want to be addressed again). As far as we know, Google gets the information that you visited the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our adverts. Even if you are not registered or currently logged in, there is the possibility that Google will find out and safe your IP-address.

We point out that this might lead to you not being able to use all the functions of our online presence to their full extent.
